Military Family Resources

Here is a quick overview of the MFLC program and the services Trexler can offer to children and parents of Trexler Middle School:

Child Youth and Behavioral MFLCs (CYB-MFLCs) are integrated in many DODEA and public schools, and installation Child & Youth Programs across the globe. MFLCs provide non-medical confidentialcounseling services that build resiliency and problem-solving skills to deal with everyday normal stressors. MFLCs can offer support on a variety of issues including stress management, coping skills, conflict resolution, deployment and reintegration issues, self-esteem and confidence, and grief and loss. We can do this through individual, group or family counseling sessions. The MFLC programprovides non-medical counseling and does not provide mental health evaluations or diagnosis. MFLC support is confidential, however we are mandated to report risk of harm to self-and/or others, abuse orneglect, domestic violence, and illegal behavior. MFLC services are provided at no cost to military services members and their families and are flexible in both time and location.
